Costa Rica: Hearts & Love

Love can be expressed in many ways. My big piece of my heart is in Costa Rica and that sentiment is echoed in leaves, tree trunks, and stone wherever I go.
The naturalist/guide assigned to my first group trip in 1993 was Roman Odio from Liberia. We immediately became friends and our families have shared many adventures together since then. I am eternally grateful to have had lifelong friends / traveling companions for many of my visits to Costa Rica: Haniel Pulido and my Earth-sibling Brad Stocker. Both are keen observers and talented photographers who also appreciate the value of moving slowly through the landscape. Taking time to sit and just be in communion with Nature became a regular practice for us. Along with late afternoon coffee.
