Punta Cana: The Great Outdoors

This is a Gallery of native plants and animals as well as land-sea-sky 'scapes in and around the Gran Bahia Principe Resort in Punta Cana.

When I tried to photograph the landscapes and wildlife on the road outside the resort, a security guard with an assault rifle guarding a nearby estate with a helicopter pad, told me I had to go back the resort. So, I guess the public road wasn't for the public. Not very welcoming.
